The school started from its humble beginnings. With only a few students
and teachers, the institution already maintained its commitment to the
vision of the Department of Education.
“We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose
values and competencies enable them to realize their full potential and
contribute meaningfully to building a nation.”
As the institution moved forward, SAHSP passed every obstacle and moved
beyond borders.
After evaluating the requirements submitted for the establishment of the
school, the Department of Education found that the documents were in
accordance with law and DepEd Order No. 40, Series of 2014.
The establishment of the school was officially approved on January 11,
2017. The letter of approval was awarded to Mrs. Maria Rhodora P.
Espino, Principal II of SAHSP, by NCR Regional Director IV,
Dr. Ponciano Menguito.
Today, SAHSP continues to provide quality education through modern
facilities, dedicated educators, relevant curriculum, and programs that
develop learners with wisdom, courage, and confidence.
From humble beginnings to excellence in education.
The Ground Breaking Activity for SAHSP was held on November 7, 2014
with San Antonio Elementary School serving as the host school.
The event was attended by DepEd Parañaque officials, school principals,
division supervisors, district supervisors, and city officials.
During this significant event, Mrs. Maria Rhodora P. Espino was
introduced as the OIC Principal of SAHSP.
The Soft Opening Program was held on June 26, 2015 together with the
blessing of the school headed by Rev. Father Carmelo O. Estores,
Parish Priest of Our Lady of Peace Parish.
Messages were delivered by education leaders, barangay officials,
city officials, and SAHSP administrators who became part of building
the foundation of the institution.
San Antonio High School Parañaque was established as a four-storey
secondary education institution located in Barangay San Antonio.
It officially opened on June 1, 2015 for School Year 2015-2016 with
22 Grade 7 sections and initially operated as an annex of Parañaque
National High School Main.
The school was created to provide accessible secondary education for
graduates of nearby elementary schools and help reduce the increasing
student population of Parañaque National High School Main.
Through the efforts of school leaders, the Local Government, and
Department of Education officials, SAHSP achieved its independence
through Regional Order No. 1, Series of 2017.
Within five years, SAHSP earned numerous awards and recognitions in
different fields of learning, becoming one of the recognized schools
in Parañaque City and nearby areas in Metro Manila.
A legacy built through dedication, innovation, and service.
