Transparency Seal
In compliance with Section 112 (Transparency Seal) of
Republic Act No. 12314, General Appropriations Act FY 2026.
To enhance transparency and enforce accountability,
all government agencies shall maintain a Transparency Seal
posted on their official websites.
I. Agency Mandate, Vision, Mission and Officials
DepEd Vision
We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose
values and competencies enable them to realize their full potential
and contribute meaningfully to building the nation.
As a learner-centered public institution, the Department of Education
continuously improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.
DepEd Mission

DepEd Mandate
The Department of Education shall protect and promote the right
of all citizens to quality education and shall establish, maintain,
and support a complete, adequate, and integrated system of basic
education relevant to national development.
This mandate is anchored on the 1987 Philippine Constitution
and Republic Act No. 9155.
