Since 2015, SANHSP School-Based Feeding Program has been conducted on a yearly basis. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has put nearly everything around the world on pause, including the suspension of face-to-face classes, therefore, the program’s implementation for SY 2020-2021 has been postponed. This does not imply that students are no longer receiving high-quality foods because teachers keep on urging parents during virtual homeroom period to continue preparing low-cost yet nutritious meals for their children.
