4 SANHSPians qualify for 2023 Citywide Junior High School Science Quiz Bee

4 SANHSPians qualified for the Final Round of Junior High School Science Quiz Bee, held last February 03,2023 at Parañaque City College.
The representatives for the Quiz Bee were: Mikaela Paco from 10 – Garnet; Gian Carlo Dormiendo from 9 – Mahogany; Mark Angelo Rallos from 8 – Temperance ; and Azreenah Abdulsamad from 7 – Escoda.
With the hardwork and support of their coach, Mr. Emerson Lazaro, Grade 10 Science Teacher, the participants were able to make it to the final round.
There were 21 schools in general who participated in the elimination round with 14 public schools and 7 private schools.
The qualified schools for the Final Round were: 1st Place: Parañaque National High School-Main and Parañaque Science High School with the combined scores of 16.5 points ; 2nd Placer: San Antonio National High School Parañaque with the combined scores of 16.25 points ; 3rd Placer: Moonwalk National High School, with the combined scores of 15 points; 4th Placer: St. Paul College of Parañaque, with the combined scores of 14.25 points; 5th Placer: Don Galo National High School and Sun Valley National High School, with the combined scores of 14 points; Dr. Arcadio Santos National High School, with the combined scores of 13.75 points and 6th Placer; Tambo National High School, with the combined scores of 13.25 points.
The contest is in- line with the 25th Cityhood Celebration of Parañaque. The other contests were: i-Ispel Mo for Grade 6 ; Math Wizard Contest for Grade 4-6; Folk Dance for Secondary High Schools ; Grand Sunduan for Teachers and Non-teaching Personnel.
On the other hand, the Final Round will be held on February 8, 2023, at SM Bicutan.
