San Antonio Footbridge is finally blessed

SANHSP held the Blessing of San Antonio Footbridge on Monday, January 30, 2023. The program was hosted by Ms. Jeraldine Estrella and it started with a Nationalistic Song, followed by a prayer, led by the Department Head in TLE, Ms. Delia Sibonga. The event was joined by Head Teachers, Master Teachers, teachers, SPTA Officers, and the distinguished guests Congressman Gustavo “Gus” Tambunting, Mayor Eric Olivarez, Councilor Beng Amurao, Tin Esplana, and Nina Sotto, Secretary Joms Eugenio, Kagawad Rey Casanova, and Rev. Fr. Virginio Pedregosa.
Mrs. Lilibeth Santamaria delivered her Opening Remarks with gratitude to the people behind the construction of the footbridge. She was grateful for the help from the local government. Shortly after the principal’s message, Mayor Eric Olivarez gave his speech about the project created by Congressman Gustavo Tambunting, he mentioned that it will not be the last project for San Antonio, he is also working for the vacant lot that could be a school for Senior High. Next was Congressman Tambunting who recognized SANHSP for holding the blessing of San Antonio Footbridge, he recognized the people who made it possible, and the effort given in building the project. During the Closing Remarks, SPTA President, Mrs. Cecile Pamalo, declared her appreciation to the local government and the people who continuously view the safety of the stakeholders, especially the students in building the project.
After the short program, Father Virginio Pedregosa proceeded with the blessing of the footbridge, together with a ribbon cutting, led by Mrs. Santamaria, Mayor Olivarez, and Congressman Tambunting, the other guests also joined the benediction. The event was successful with the people who gave their time to witness the blessing.
